Our team is made up of creative people who have gained their experience in diverse areas of the musical and event industry.
Michael Schueller – managing director
After completing his studies of percussion at the Musikhochschule in Karlsruhe in 1993, he worked as a trainee at the Staatstheater Darmstadt. Since 1994 he has been the principal percussion player at the Apollo Theater in Stuttgart, for musicals such as “Miss Saigon”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Tanz der Vampire”, “42nd Street”, “Elisabeth”, “Die drei Musketiere” and “Ich war noch niemals in New York”. Since 1992 he has also been playing for several leading orchestras in Southern Germany (Opernhaus Stuttgart, Staatsphilharmonie Ludwigshafen/Rhein, Staatstheater Darmstadt, Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen etc.). In 1999 he founded “musicalpeople”, who are taken from the original main cast members and musicians of Stage Entertainment’s leading German musical productions.
Andreas Brüggemann - FOH
Since 1991 Andreas Brüggemann has been working as a freelance sound engineer across Europe, for companies like müllermusic Cologne, Mainz and BST Acoustic Network Hagen. His field of activity includes responsibility for big corporate events like Siemens, Lamborghini, G-Starr, as well as music productions of renowned performers from classical to rock to jazz. Since 2001, he has also been responsible for sound on many WDR TV productions.
Nicole Hildebrandt – director
Nicole Hildebrandt was born in Witten (Ruhr). After graduating, she moved to Hamburg in order to receive training as a musical actress. Later she performed in musicals like “Tanz der Vampire” in Vienna and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat” at Essen’s Colosseum, before she decided to study journalism and English. But theatre wouldn’t let her go, so she came back, first as an assistant to author Michael Kunze. She supported him in his work on “Aida”, “Mamma Mia!” and “Elisabeth”. Later she became artistic director of “Elisabeth” as well as of “Wicked” in Stuttgart after that. As assistant director Nicole was involved in “Titanic”, “We will rock you”, “Miami Nights” and the “Phantom of the Opera”, and as director in “Elisabeth” in Füssen and “Der Klang des Meeres” in Berlin. Since 2007 she has been directing all of Stage Entertainment productions’ TV appearances.
Matthias Strobel – lighting designer
Matthias Strobel has been working for several years as a lighting designer and operator for musicalpeople, including big events such as the opening gala of the new exhibition center at Stuttgart airport, the anniversary celebration of “150 years SEB Bank” in Frankfurt’s Festhalle or the “Würther Kongress” in Cape Town. In addition, he also is responsible for the lighting design and programming of shows like “Wicked” at Palladium Theater Stuttgart (Ass. Projection Design), “Blue Man Group” in Musical Theater Basel (grandMA programming), or “Welcome To The Pleasuredome – Live from the 80s” in Wendlerhallen Reutlingen (lighting design & grandMA programming). Recently Matthias has also worked as an official trainer for the ETC Eos ™ lighting control systems.
Michael Woll – technical director
The business graduate with a great love of technology is responsible for several major events in the Southwest German area such as the Mainau classical open-air events on the island of Mainau on Lake Constance. He is a speaker for the topic “Convention Venue Regulation” and for many years a member of the IHK examination board for event managers. Since 1999 he is managing partner of Evented GmbH, a leading provider of large screen projection and film events in Germany.
Nik Reiff – sound engineer
Nik Reiff has been responsible for more than 10 years for the sound of the big musical productions at the Stuttgart SI-Centrum. At the FOH he has mixed “Miss Saigon”, “Tanz der Vampire”, “42nd Street”, “Elisabeth”, “Die drei Musketiere”, “Blue Man Group” and currently “We will rock you”. Numerous musical productions for TV and CD were recorded and produced in his recording studio studioconsulting.de, which was founded in 1995. These include, the Stuttgart recording of “Elisabeth” and the Moscow CD of “Mamma Mia!”, the “Wetten, dass…?” performance of “Wicked”, and Kevin Tarte’s latest CD “Jump”. As a producer of electronic music, he released songs on Sven Väth’s legendary “harthouse” label as early as 1995, and is currently involved in the project “manmade science” on philpot-records.
